Leagas Delaney wins creative account for Chivas Brothers Ballantine’s Prestige Scotch whisky
Independent global creative agency Leagas Delaney today announces that it has been appointed as one of the global creative agencies for Chivas Brothers’ flagship whisky brand Ballantine’s, with specific focus on their Prestige Range. Leagas Delaney will work with Ballantine’s to attract a younger audience and grow its market share in key markets, building on Pernod Ricard’s strong financial results from its whisky portfolio in August. Ballantine’s, founded in 1827, is the world’s second highest selling Scotch whisky.
The announcement comes as new market research predicts compound growth of 5.3% for the global whisky market in the next five years. The first campaign will launch in 2019, focusing on key Asian markets and global travel retail, incorporating video, OOH, POS, social and digital.
