Art Against Knives
The charity Art Against Knives came about as a result of the stabbing of Oliver Hemsley,
a 21 year old student from Central St Martin’s College of Art and Design. In an unprovoked attack Oliver was stabbed and left paralysed.
Leagas Delaney has helped the charity set up creative workshops for young people
involved in crime, giving them the opportunity to access education and training,
thereby improving their lives.
We are committed to using art to reduce youth violence in London, and the artwork created by these young people, or generously donated by successful artists, now lines the walls of our offices and is for sale, with all proceeds going to support this important charity.
