Post 6/40 - adidas 'City Match'
Back in 1992, adidas was on the brink. Bankruptcy looming , overshadowed by Nike. Then they invited Leagas Delaney London to help.
Together, we created an iconic global youth brand, re-instating the company’s authentic sports credentials. The work was our first for a global account. Many, many wonderful campaigns over nearly 10 years, were made possible by one of the great clients : Tom Harrington.
In this spot, we scattered footballs throughout Amsterdam city centre, inviting the public to a kick-about with some soccer greats.
